... at what point in my life I became the sort of person who likes the Dixie Chicks. I'm not saying that is a bad thing, but if you had told my 18 yr old self that I would one day be groovin' along at work to The Long Way Around, I would have laughed in your face.

Meanwhile, I raced off to the video store at lunch time where I picked up seasons 2, 3 and 4 of The Wire for only $19.95 each. Score! I also got out some truly trashy flicks to do work to this weekend (typing / editing minutes of meetings, hardly requires much concentration) so I will be having a work-n-watch fest this weekend. I should also find time to vacuum my room because the dust balls in there make it look like the tundra. Or something.

Dinner tonight with MotherHen, which will be good, although she will spend hours counselling me to quit my job (and she would be right). Will be nice to see her... but sad because she is moving from G-town back to The City. Friends in this town are dropping like flies!
